In the middle of the really down cycle of 2009, this empty home had languished on the market for over 2 months when we were called in to stage it.  It had some wonderful qualities, but also some problems, most notable being that the layout in the living room was awkward and the kitchen was dated.  It was also difficult to tell which rooms were which from the online photos.  The staging in the living room warmed it up and added lots of charm.  It also gave buyers an idea of where furniture could go without blocking the flow of traffic.

Hmmm.... what room is this?       Oh - its the dining room.

And this?         A family room, with plenty of space to gather, hang out, watch TV and eat.
